To Clarify Your Values & Principles

It seems we are living in times that truly call us toward our utmost integrity.
We live in a hurting world. What does it mean to show up as our best selves?
How do you show up? What principles and values guide your life, your behavior, your words?
Fine tuning our values and principles is a basic foundation of living well and grounded.
What are values and principles though? How might we sort this out?
Shifting from vague platitudes about "being a good person" is a great way to begin.
Values help us to sort out who we are and what is meaningful as individuals.
Principles are our more collective guidelines on how we wish to be with each other.

This is very different than digging into a rigid, moral stance.
We lose our way when we are certain of our "beliefs."
From this vantage point, others are wrong, and we are right.
When we live from our own conscience, with behavior to match, we lift each other up.
How do you consider these things? How do you practice compassion?
How do you see the difference between your values and your principles?
How do you offer peace above all else?
