Why Breathe?

Connecting to breath and using breathwork as a tool is not new.

So why does it feel like the first time, every time?

Because the breath is both changeable and automatic.

It's a living metaphor for all that challenges and supports us.

We begin again all the time. Even though we have done this before.

So we come to these practices as a beginner every single time we practice.

That is frustrating as a practitioner who wants to make progress.

But actually it is also wise and progressive to be a beginner.

It reminds us to slow and pause and to reconsider "where we are."

Come back to breathwork with a fresh perspective.

Know that beginning again with a simple and profound and powerful practice

refines your view.

Come back to breath. Again.
